Description

Since March 2024, with support from Oxfam GB through Oxfam in Indonesia, Penabulu has conducted a public fundraising research involving three consultants. The research aims to produce policy analysis, potential mapping, and roadmap recommendations for public fundraising through the involvement of corporations and high net worth individuals (HNWIs), the development of collective funding schemes, and the maximization of digital fundraising approaches. Based on the research results and recommendations produced, Penabulu will carry out several activities to expand funding sources and increase the volume of unrestricted income.

The main activities include the establishment of OXFAM Shop, a branded second-hand shop as a medium for raising donations from HNWIs, and the development of the Climate Change Learning Hub (CCLH) as a business unit that offers courses and training on climate change issues. In addition, Penabulu will also raise public funds through Zakat, Infak, Sedekah (ZIS), and Waqf to fund the Women4Women program. This initiative is expected to introduce the Oxfam Indonesia brand, build relationships with the wider community, and provide training and consulting services related to climate change.
