Justice of Digital Transformation
The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the process of digital transformation on all fronts, including forcing Indonesian humanitarian institutions and civil society organizations to adopt, adapt and change approaches and ways of working so far.
Penabulu believes that digital transformation will provide new possibilities for wider and meaningful community outreach and engagement. However, at the same time it also shows the weakness of the capacity of Indonesian CSOs in general at the level of approach ideas and technical capacity in managing and maximizing the use of ICT.
The program will also focus on equality of access for marginalized internet users, participating in the development of healthy internet usage patterns, rejecting digitalization that co-opts civilian life and against the insecurity of personal data and restrictions on advocacy and human rights defense work that is limited by digital means.
Program interventions are carried out through campaigns, intense and focused training, mentoring and consulting, research, studies, regular discussions and open literacy development, as well as collaborative development of platforms, products, tools and guidelines.
