Description
MADANI – Civil Society Support Initiative is a project that aims to strengthen the accountability of local Governments and communal tolerance in Indonesia by increasing and maintaining the capacity, legitimacy and sustainability of civil society organizations in Indonesia.
Working in 32 Regencies / Cities in 9 Provinces in Indonesia, MADANI set a vision; making Indonesia a better functioning, more tolerant and resilient democracy, demonstrated by strengthened local democratic practices, improved performance and local government response, better accountability of frontline service delivery, and more effective and inclusive mechanisms for participation and transparency at the community level.
In this project the Penabulu Foundation acts as a service provider for a variety of technical assistance needed by organizations (CSOs) who are MADANI’s local partners in the Banten, West Java, Central Java, DIY, East Java North Sumatra, South Sumatra, East Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi and NTB in accordance with the following topic areas; 1) Strategic Planning; 2) HR Management; 3) Financial Management; 4) Resource Mobilization 5) Knowledge Management and 6) Local Government.
Funding
This Agreement is to provide services to support USAID MADANI Program on an “as required” basis and os not a guaranted work order.
