Description
The Fauna & Flora International Indonesia Program (FFI’s IP) is an international non-profit organization engaged in conservation. In Indonesia, FFI’s IP partners with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), especially with the Directorate for Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems (KSDAE) in supporting efforts to conserve threatened species and ecosystems in several provinces, namely Aceh, Jambi, West Sumatra, Bengkulu, Riau, West Kalimantan, South Sulawesi and West Papua.
This year, FFI’s IP received support from the Rainforest Trust (RFT) to increase support in efforts to protect forest areas outside conservation areas that have high conservation value through the establishment of new conservation areas with the government in five landscapes of FFI’S IP conservation activities, namely Aceh, Jambi. , West Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, and West Papua with a total area of 307,836 hectares.
Thus, as part of the joint program implementation with RFT, FFI’s IP needs to develop project work plans and annual work plans that are integrated with other activities/projects currently and will be running in the five landscapes.
