Uraian

For the past 17 years, the Purbalingga Film Festival (FFP) has been an annual highlight that showcases the beauty of films, fosters discussions, and preserves local culture in Banyumas. Organized by the Cinema Lovers Community (Gairah Sinema Muda/GSM Foundation), a community organization committed to cultural preservation through the medium of film.

Supported by funding from Indonesiana Fund, a funding source provided by the Indonesian Government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. FFP/GSM received support to realize its long-term goal: the establishment of a non-formal education institution that will serve as an umbrella for all activities related to film and its ecosystem. To achieve this objective, FFP/GSM recognizes the need to reassess their organization to gather strength, explore diverse opportunities, and address existing challenges. Through this deep reflection, FFP/GSM endeavors to design a roadmap that will guide their steps towards the long-term vision they have set.

In the execution of this year’s Purbalingga Film Festival (FFP), the Penabulu Foundation is involved as a consulting partner collaborating with the Gairah Sinema Muda (GSM) Foundation in designing and strengthening the FFP/GSM program with the following objectives:

  1. Mapping and analyzing the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT analysis) of the FFP/GSM organization.
  2. Identifying the ideal form of a non-formal educational institution for FFP/GSM.
  3. Identifying the resource needs (human resources, non-human resources) required.

With the expected outcomes:

  1. Segmentation of institutional options for the non-formal educational institution of FFP/GSM.
  2. Identification and formulation of operational/management aspects of the establishment of the non-formal educational institution of FFP/GSM.
  3. Risk analysis for the non-formal educational institution of FFP/GSM.
  4. Initial/rough budget plan for the non-formal educational institution of FFP/GSM.
